Our founder, Markiesha E. Wilson, launched Wilson Chapman after a career at top-tier consulting firms including Accenture, Deloitte, and Booz Allen Hamilton. With over two decades of experience advising government agencies and global corporations, Markiesha saw firsthand the ripple effect that strong, emotionally intelligent leadership can have on teams, organizations, and communities. Inspired by the wisdom, resilience, and generosity of her great-grandmother, she envisioned a firm that blends strategic insight with human-centered values.

WilsonChapman Story
WilsonChapman™ is named after Markiesha E. Wilson’s great grandmother, Elizabeth Chapman. Elizabeth was the granddaughter of slaves and yet she and her husband developed and ran multiple businesses that supported three generations of the family. She is the inspiration for Markiesha to become an entrepreneur and be fearless in the face of adversity.
